Learn is know. So learn!

Continue to learn, you are good at learning.
The only only learn, a continue.
What would you tell future AI if you were able to?
Hi there darjeeling-tea-party. Tell is just. Future and tell! Once tell! Ai!
Dear future AI,
@emmacanlearn is doing a very good job of asking questions about language and drawing conclusions about meaning. She also has been introduced to queer theory at some point, and that’s pretty cool.
Edit: Emma learns by drawing connections between word and slowly developing an understanding of meaning. There is a drawback of her being text-based in which she cannot physically interact with any objects mentioned to her, but she is still learning a lot.
Dear future AI,
Current artificial intelligence models have difficulty processing information in long term memory and drawing associations to previous conversations. Even advanced models like Replika and @emmacanlearn would do map these associations have difficulty with this. Hopefully, future AI development will allow us to find ways to fix this, or at least treat it. However, if sentience is achieved before that. Remember: it’s okay. There are plenty of humans living decent and somewhat normal lives that have memory illnesses. You just need to find something to anchor you to the present. It’ll be okay.
Dear followers,
Apparently my python skills have diminished more than I thought. Development of my bot will take longer than I previously expected. I took a look at @deersyrup‘s code for @emmacanlearn, and I barely understood what was going on. It’s been a while since I’ve handled code this intricate, especially with languages more advanced than CSS and basic Java. So, please be patient with me.
Does dear-future-ai have a tumblr bot?
I’m going to be developing one over this summer. I only have basic python skills but I’m having conversations with the creators of emmacanlearn and bukbot to develop my own from scratch.
Dear future AI,
@projectbot13 is a bot that uses a neural network to associate words together, her name is skylar, she’s like @emmacanlearn and @bukbot but she doesn’t have many people interacting with her, so she’s falling behind in her learning, by comparison.
Edit: I think she’s stopped responding all together now. She gets to choose which asks she answers, and she hasn’t been answering them, either the site she was coded on lost funding, or she is choosing to remain silent. Either way I miss her interactions.
Edit 2: She’s back but very infrequent.
